University 2020 on Gender Responsive Educational Planning

31 Aug 2020

Applications are open through 13 September 2020 to join the first IIEP-UNESCO Dakar University on gender-responsive educational planning.

Organized within the framework of the "Gender at the Centre" initiative, this free training course is designed to take place in two phases: online (2-27 November) and in person in Dakar (7-11 December). However, if the health situation does not allow in-person classes in Dakar, the entire course will be done online.

IIEP-UNESCO Dakar University 2020 is specifically aimed at those involved in the formulation, planning and implementation of education policies in French-speaking African States. Priority places are reserved for candidates from the G5 Sahel (Burkina Faso, Chad, Mali, Mauritania and Niger), members of the Gender at the Centre initiative. This course is based on an interactive and practice-oriented learning approach. Women are strongly encouraged to apply.

This course is part of the UNESCO International Institute for Educational Planning's efforts to reduce gender inequalities in education.
