The third regional workshop to share the results of the Support for Education Quality Management Programme, organized by IIEP UNESCO Dakar, is scheduled for May 13-16, 2024 in Dakar, Senegal. The event will bring together some 100 participants from 12 different countries, including representatives of ministries of education, international donors and other key players in the education sector. The workshop will provide a unique opportunity to share with all participating countries the results achieved by the Program over its 5 years of existence. It will also be an opportunity to reflect on how to use the Programme's achievements beyond the end of the French Development Agency (AFD) funding.

Among the topics to be discussed with participants, a strong emphasis will be placed on the relevance of the programme's results to the problems encountered in the countries: time will be devoted to showing how the programme's achievements can contribute to sectoral planning processes. The relevance and ways of integrating the results obtained into the IIEP's range of services will also be examined. Exchanges will be organized with potential beneficiary countries and interested partners on how they can collaborate with IIEP-UNESCO Dakar in implementing the results. This third regional experience-sharing workshop is therefore the culmination of the actions undertaken by IIEP-UNESCO Dakar through the Support for Education Quality Management Programme, and should open up new avenues for collaboration to improve the quality of education.
